1. Minimum Age
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a long gun (rifle or shotgun) or ammunition for a long gun.
- You must be at least 21 years old to purchase a handgun, handgun ammunition, or any frame/receiver classified as a handgun.
- State law may impose a higher minimum age. We follow the stricter rule.
2. How We Verify
- You confirm your date of birth on the age gate the first time you visit the site.
- For firearms, your selected FFL dealer verifies your photo ID against ATF Form 4473 at pickup. The dealer will refuse the transfer if you do not meet the minimum age.
- Ammunition shipments require an adult signature on delivery; in states that require it, age verification is performed at the point of sale by the carrier or a state-licensed vendor.
- We may request additional verification at any time and cancel orders that cannot be verified.
3. False Information
Providing false information about your age or eligibility to purchase a firearm or ammunition is a federal crime. Orders flagged for fraud will be canceled and may be referred to law enforcement.
4. Parental Notice
This site is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, email privacy@riffleexchange.com and we will delete it.
